People Lie!!

I heard the staff talking about this website and I can't believe the stuff people make up. I've lived here for a little over a year, and I can tell you that these other people are either lying, or exaggerating the truth. I get so frustrated by watching ignorant people tear a good thing down because their life sucks. I know not every place you live will be great and I've lived in some dumps but this Avalon has been great.

First, the comments on the garage are way off. Only a couple of the buildings don't have access from the garage, and if you'd thought about asking some questions before closing your eyes and signing a lease you might have learned something. I mean, if this isn't the first time you've moved, how you get in and out should be a no-brainer question.

Second, there's like 500 apartments here, and if they can't find your package right away because the UPS man dumped a bunch on the floor and left, chill out. We're all lucky they're willing to keep and sort through it at all. And in regards to noise, you're gonna hear things sometimes. It's part of living in an apartment, and if you can't deal with it rent a house.

Lastly, I think the staff is good. If you came to my work and yelled at me before I knew what was going on, I wouldn't want to help you either. I get treated with respect every time I'm down there and it might be because I TREAT THEM WELL TOO!! I've been in the office once when someone came in and started yelling at this poor girl who was helping me. She didn't even know what he was yelling about, and neither did I. I would've told him to shut up, but this girl listened to him, figured out his problem and told him how she would take care of it. His repsonse was "You'd better have it done tomorrow" and he left. I would've waited a week to take care of it.

You're so right about the mutual respect aspect. I live somewhere else, but I noticed that I get better service at MANY places I frequent because I treat every employee the same way I want to be treated, with kindness and empathy.

No, we're not lucky, that's their frickin job. That's what they get paid to do.

In case you didn't know, it is courtesy..not their job

Courtesy would be delivering them to the individual apartments, y'know, like they're addressed.
