The previous positive review was nicely written by the new manager: I better understand why she has no time to do her own job, sheâs busy surfing all day. Who else would say "Joanne is doing a great job too" when the whole community is falling apart, and, how surprising, this is only happening since Mike left. Probably the "bad" residents turned mean from one day to another... âMrs I am doing a great jobâ sends letter to residents to âeducate themâ, but seems very uneducated herself, calling residents liar when they report maintenance issues (that now take weeks to solve if ever taken care ofâ) or tells her mere truth. It is even a community where you may have your car towed inside the garage they charge you $65 a month per car (remember we are outside the beltway, who else charge for parking spot there'') and then have to pay a couple of hundred bucks to get your car back!! A good piece of advice: do not fall for the metro proximity, and stay away from this place that became a very nasty one! To AvalonBay Communities, Inc.: you have a serious issue with this property that youâd better take care of soonâ

Towed from the garage? The ONLY reason you'd ever be towed from the garage is if you either parked illegally or didn't have a parking pass and someone thought your vehicle was not supposed to be parked there. STOP TELLING HALF THE STORY!
