We lived at miramont for one year and we were not happy. After six months everyday they lined up huge dumpsters overflowing with garbage in front of our apartment near the maintenance office. We talked to management (the new manager, MIke was wonderful) and between her and the maintenance manager they said it was a difficult problem. Nothing was done so we moved out. Then they have the nerve to charge 800 bucks to replace the carpet, 50 to remove a satellite and 150 for cleaning, after we lived right beside garbage. They like to pass on costs of turning over the apartment to the consumer. Unless your place is spotless good luck getting a security deposit back. Also there is trash and dog waste all over the property. The free rent was worth it but 1500 a month to live in filth is not my idea of a good deal. The garage is filthy we saw several mice/rats and one in the stairwell. My car was broken into to steal the garage remote. You can do a lot better for the money.

I agree with everything you said. I will be mooving out to because of those issues...I also heard people complaining about their deposit....they are trying to said money on their budget by charging the consumer all the cost to get the apartment ready for the next renter. In some way it is illegal. It says on the lease they are responsible for normal waer and tears anything beyond is your responsibilities. But what the management did is they telling renter that the charge was for anything beyond......Ihave a friend they did they exact thing...I saw her apt after she moved...well clean....after 2 weeks the new manager sent her a bill for almost $1300 for carpet replacement. She should have been charge half of that..not the hole thing.....Plus her carpet was in good condition.......new comers beware......this place is a desaster......and the management are doing some shady ----....
