No hot water once again

Been here for 6 months, and this is my third showerless morning due to lack of hot (or even warm) water. They have serious issues with the pipes here: in addition to our hot H2O problems, there's a hole in our bathroom ceiling from a leak in the unit above us, and an apartment across the hall was flooded when its frozen pipes burst a couple weeks ago. Management "responds" to these issues but so far ineffectively.

I would be especially wary if purchasing at The Wisconsin, the sister property of apparently identical construction at 5809 Nicholson Lane.

I second the other reviewer who noted that the design for the entrance is laughably poor. Staff have to use space heaters to keep warm in winter or else everyone enters/exits through a busted side door. On windy days I've seen the huge vase of flowers blow over when the front doors open, petals scattered everywhere.

Otherwise it's a decent place. Staff is nice. Gym is big for an apartment complex, though the equipment is a bit cheap. Decor strikes me as pretentious but others might like it.

We refer to The Grand as The Slum. The do not fix things once broken. There is an entire section of metal gating that has been broken and laying down for over one year. The gates to get in and out break at least once a week. The ground are just nasty dirty. The sidewalks need to be swept. The grass is not cut in a timely fashion. The employees are disrepectful to residents and guests. The drivers drive cars into and out of the underground garage in a dangerous manner. The benches need to be sanded and stained. And now the worst issue with The Grand - the residents. What a bunch of scum bags. Dirty, ill dressed, coming and going all hours of the night. Loud, disrespectful, and actually dirty. You can see them in the morning walking to and from the metro. The lowest of low-lifes. It looks like most of Prince George County has moved into this dump. Crime is high around this building. It backs to a MacDonalds restaurant and there is a guy living in the bushes behind the building with his dog. If that not enough, there is a Asian restaurant on the far corner that is dunping raw cooking oil into the sewer. What a smell and just yards from The Grand swimming pool.
