The place is nice... overpriced though

We moved to the lodge about a year ago. We didn't do much looking around ahead of time, the place seemed really nice and is across from Fort Meade, where we are stationed. The place was brand new and had nice amenities and appliances. The people in the office told us that our utilities bill would be really low because of the newly insulated buildings. Our bill has been over $250 every month and I live in a one bedroom apartment. There are crackes in the doors and windows releasing the heating/air conditioning outside. The staff is stuck up and rude. If you have a problem with something they never want to help. When it snowed none of the sidewalks were shoveled in the morning and they were very icey as well as the stairs. The walls inside are painted thin and the paint is always chipping off. The Lodge allows pets and has pet stations but people let their dogs do their business all over the grass and they don't pick it up. I have a dog and I walk it over the the dog clean up station and on my way their in the evening I am always stepping in dog poop. I haven't have any problems about sound, but I am on the third floor. There were a few break ins over the summer. I would be concerned if I lived on the first floor.
