I have to say I got totally duped by the beautiful apartments. They are nice but I am paying more in this apartment for a one bedroom then my friend is in a 3 bedroom, there is way better price out there. Plus, the surrounding area is TERRIBLE. You can hear through the walls, soliciting is insane, the power goes out all the time. My friend told me today she does electronic debit and her rent payment came back due to insufficient funds, she had the money (she showed me) and when the lady called (6 days later) she said she was going to take her to court because she "sent a letter". My friend never received the letter. I am definitely leaving when my lease is up because I don't know what may happen to me in the future, the front desk girls are all smiles but they aren't very honest. I'm dreading moving out because I KNOW I won't get any deposits back.

I have read all of remarks posted up here about this apt complex. I went to view the area last week and now I'm starting to rethink filling out an application due to safety concerns, parking issues, and the thin walls. I am a profession where you get sleep in when you can, and thin walls are not the solution for me. The price is not an issue, as I live in DC! I think I will look around other areas just in case. Thanks!

I completely agree with the two posts. The ladies at the leasing office are sheepish and impertinent towards existing residents. And who??s knocking at my door today??another solicitor! Perhaps, the complex needs a bigger, bolder sign to ward off many unwanted annoyances. Before the Lodge at Seven Oaks, we resided at Hampton Point in Silver Springs. The apartments and appliances were outdated, but the staff was exceptionally courteous. An acquaintance of ours was moving in the next day (early morning) and was told by his moving company his shipment was delayed. One of the staff members actually went out and bought shower curtains, towels, laundry detergent, paper plates/bowls, and plastic utensils. She did all this, just to make sure he was comfortable in an empty apartment. When we were at the hospital, having a baby, they dropped all our baby packages inside our apartment. It would have been too late to retrieve our packages when we arrived home with the new baby. Look elsewhere for better service and prices. I hear Hampton Point in Silver Springs is getting updated appliances.
