Not bad so far

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
I have lived at Riverscape for 3 months (moved in in August 2007), and so far, everything has been fine. The assistant property manager isn't the most pleasant person (and unfortunately she's the one normally in there when I take the rent check). Any time you ask for something, she gives you the impression that she finds you stupid and not worth her time, hardly conducive to getting people to sign leases again the following year.
Anyway, other than her, the complex has been good. Trash can overflow at the dumpster occasionally, and on perhaps two or three occasions, a group of teenagers sat outside our apartment in the parking lot being quite loud. Mostly minor annoyances that don't happen with any real frequency.
The surrounding area is pretty great. There are walking paths through what is considered "nature" for the DC-metro area, a Bloom grocery store within walking distance, an excellent beer and wine shop (Hops and Vines), and more shopping than your wallet can handle, all within 15 minutes. Not to mention, if you commute to Baltimore or DC, the MARC train is about a seven-minute drive away.
Overall, I recommend Riverscape...unless you can afford a house, and at that point, don't throw your money away on rent.
