Someone told me about this site when I was moving the metropolitan area and thought it would be helpfull. One thing I noticed on this site was every complex has NEGATIVE experiences on them. If I used this site as my only source of finding a new apartment I would be homeless.I still visted complex's through out the area and actually found my experience at Shelter Cove very satisfying. They showed me the exact apartment I was interested in. I moved in last month and nothing horrible has happened. I have even noticed improvements going on in the complex just about every day. So far so good for me. I just thought something nice needed to be said for the complex I call home.

Take it from someone who lived there - it'll change. I loved living at Shelter Cove for the 1st year - but after year 2, I needed to move. That's when my problems started. They conveniently "lost" my notice and were nothing but rude. I ended up losing my security deposit. Just make sure you document EVERYTHING. I wish you luck - enjoy it while it lasts!

Im glad your first month in the apt has been a good experience, but take it from someone who has lived there for a year and a half, things will go down hill quick. Wait until you have a maintenance issue and the maintenance person asks for your tool box b/c he didnt bring his or better yet, they never show up and you have to keep asking them to come fix the same things! Emergency maintenance on average took 2-hours, when they showed up! I did finally move out and management was not helpful and didnt even show up on time for my move out inspection. The apts. are in a great location and the large kitchen is nice, lots of closet space, but the hassle of dealing with poor mgmt is not worth the low rent.

Who are you? I want to have a meeting in the rental office and meet all the people who say these apts are wonderful. Your post makes me laugh! I live here, yes the maintenance has improved, but the office staff has not they still treat me like dirt. I pay over 1400 bucks each month for rent and ON TIME yet you'd think I was the scum of the earth to those girls! Everyone knows that you'll never find a perfect apartment but they're not supposed to be this bad! I could still move into an apt reading only negative comments you have to take them with a grain of salt and weigh the pros and cons for each one. Believe me when I say this place is all CONS!!!! (ps I'll probably get charged double when I move out since the management is keeping tabs on these posts)

I lived at Shelter Cove and the place is a dump. I'm surprised the rating is 16% as it should not even show-up on a scale higher than 1%. Tear down that God foresaken place. Username paidyourrent00 is management ya'll. Post this %@#! *!~ management.
