My family of five moved into shelter cove in Feb of 08. Just like other posters- we have never felt like this is home. We are now being bitten by some type of bugs that we cant see. The doctor said maybe fleas or mites. The rental office has not addressed this in two weeks, they always say they are gonna send someone out. We have three children and we cannot even sit in the living room because it seems like something is crawling on you! Last night I sat in the living room for all of 10 min before the itching sensation became unbearable. This morning I I woke up with a huge bite on my big toe which is also now swollen. We also have roaches and I have tried everything I can to get rid of them but they keep coming back. Just like another poster said- the smells travel in between apts. There is a huge hole under my sink that maitenance was supposed to fix months ago---still not fixed!

The list goes on we pay over 1500 per month and everything about these apts suck. If snyoner says otherwise-- they must work here! The Laundry rooms are filthy! I dont even wanna go in there at all! It is ridiculous!! We are possibly gonna break oi=ur lease bc we cant sleep at night for itching and scratching.

Oh and there is also a odd smell in the apt that we think may be mold. I see that other people have ahd issues with mold. I do not see it but I smell something and I cant figure where the odor is coming from. The only thing that mgmt said was "It may be coming from the air conditioner. The ac sometimes causes condensation that can turn to mold" But, noone has came here yet to check it out.

sounds like you have bed bugs, please don't take this as to me meaning you are dirty peopole cause I'm not. It can happen to the cleanest people. All you have to do is have a visitor over that has them and they will jump onto your furniture. They don't just go to beds. You need the exterimator BADLY and guickly.
