Speak to an inmate, oops resident, before you sign the lease. Think, why would someone so impressed leave their comment anonymously. I saw the police surround a building just last month. They were armed and in large numbers. No wonder their occupancy keeps dropping. The laundry room floor was replaced in my building. There were 13 layers of vinyl. I guess they thought that would replace the rotted wood floor. I wish I had photographed it. There has never been a screen in the laundry room window, so all types of bus fly in in the night. Last month the water lines for hot and cold were reversed. This place is ghetto meets rural. For months a blue sheet hung in the apartment window of one of the tenants, now a broken blind goes unattended. Mold and mildew is a problem. The property management is another story. Rusted hinges, leaky windows, poor ventilation (if the next door neighbor loves garlic, you'll smell it.) Take a hint. Speak to a neighbor before you sign a lease. I've got a photo album of pictures. Move in here, get a movie camera and make family films of the roaches, because the will be sharing the apartment with you. Personally I think the management is decent, considering the owners don't care.
