I MOVED OUT SEVERAL WEEKS AGO NOT COMPLETING MY LEASE. IT WAS WORTH THE TERMINATION FEE. UPON MOVING IN, I HAD SUCH A TERRIBLE ROACH PROBLEM I RARELY COOKED. I CALLED ON 8 OCCASIONS TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER AND NOT ONCE DID SHE RETURN MY CALLS. 3 TIMES I WENT INTO THE OFFICE AND WAS TOLD SHE WAS TOO BUSY AND I WAS PUSHED OFF ON ANYONE NOT BUSY. I HAD NOTHING BUT ATTITUDE FROM THE MANAGER SUE AND THE GUY NAMED JASON WHICH I AM NOT SURE OF HIS POSITION. THEY ARE "SO BUSY" YET AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY, YOU CAN FIND THE MANAGER SUSAN OUTSIDE SMOKING AND ON HER CELL PHONE. I WALKED MY DOG NEAR THE OFFICE AND WHILE ON HER CELL PHONE, YOU COULD TELL IT WAS PERSONAL BY THE CURSING AND NONSENSE SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT (YOU COULD HEAR EVERYTHING). sHE HAS TO BE THE MOST UNPROFESSION EMPLOYEE I HAVE EVER SEEN! I HAVE HEARD HER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS SPEAKING TO HER STAFF IN A VERY NEGATIVE MANNER AS WELL AS TO OTHER RESIDENTS. THERE IS NO WONDER NEIGHBORS WERE MOVING OUT EVERYDAY! THE UNORGANIZATION IN THAT OFFICE IS REDICULOUS. IT TOOK OVER THREE MONTHS TO GET A SIGNED COPY OF LEASE. AS FOR THE ROACH PROBLEM..I WAS TOLD THE EXTERMINATOR WAS THE EXTENT OF HER CAPABILITIES AND I WAS WELCOME TO PURCHASE TRAPS AND SPRAYS ON MY OWN OR CALL AN EXTERMINATOR MYSELF AT MY OWN EXPENSE! I BEG ALL OF YOU PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A HOME TO RUN THE OTHER WAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

I lived at Shelter Cove 5 years ago and I review other renters comments from time to time and yes this place is as baaad as what the majority of the comments provide indicate. The few lone comments are those posted by management. I aree with this renter 100%...renter be very aware what you are getting yourself into. Please review previous renters comments first. Check out the sex offenders that live in close proximity to the complex.

I lived there 2 years ago and the same holds true for me as well. I have never had to deal with roaches in any place I have lived. Once, I made myself dinner, my child called me because he needed something, I went to get what he needed and left my plate on the kitchen counter. When I came back, there were roaches on my plate---on my food. We were on the exterminator list every week and bought our own traps, fogs, killers, you name it. The buildings must have them in the walls. All my neighbors had the same issues. The rudeness was the same at the office. I was MORE THAN GLAD to have moved.
