Tamarron Apartments has some serious environmental issues. I complained about second-hand smoke coming through the walls of neighboring units and the staff did nothing.I paid an environmental company to test my apartment (since Tamarron Apartments denied any problem and would not have my apartment tested) and they dicovered "high levels" of several types of MOLD spores that are dangerous. They also found "high levels" of BACTERIA in the HVAC unit. My family was told that the apartment was NOT HABITABLE so we left. Our personal belonging have been there for three months and we can't even get out of our lease. In fact, Tamarron Apartments is trying to make us pay for the three months of rent for the time we couldn't even live there.
The utilities were extrermely expensive. I paid over $300 month for electric during the winter months. My heater was set at 78 degrees just to maintain 68 degrees inside. This is probably because of the poor insulation (or none at all)

Oh, I totally agree. I am moving out this month. The mold is terrible in Tamarron Apts especially if you live on the first floor. You can see the mold growing all around the baseline of the walls. The management will do nothing if you report it. Tamarron Apts also has serious water leaks and the heating and airconditiong units all need to be replaced. My electric alone runs $200 monthly in the summertime in the winter it is more. These apartments are cheaply made, have little to no insulation and bugs crawl from the outside under you patio and front door into your house. You will also have to pay a water bill. The management is friendly until you actually move into Tamarron and then all hell breaks loose. Please don't move to Tamarron Apts, don't let it's great location fool you, you will be sorry.
