I lived here two years ago and have had the pleasures and displeasures of living in quite a few places.

In short I loved my apt, especially the attached garage, gas appliances, breakfast bar and ample space (I?m single, so I don?t know what it?s like w/ kids).

Overall the apt has character (some consideration for design) which is something I can?t say for most places. Closet space was ok, bathrooms ok, room size was pretty good. The kitchen had good appliances, decent cabinet space and a little short on drawer space. I have to say the noise was a bit much (ESPECIALLY WHEN MICHAEL?S LITTLE BAD ASS LIVED ABOVE ME, [sorry, flashback]). The garage and secured entrance were nice for privacy. The washer and the heat/air conditioning were loud also, the heat/ac was poor design and I was stuck living w/ it(doable), the washer was just noisy.

The staff was pretty friendly and maintenance pretty much always fast and on point w/ fixing things (they even sent a couple of letters when I complained about Michael). They?ll tax you when you?re late, but hey pay your rent on time and you?re good.

The grounds were kept well, but like everyone says, parking just wasn?t taken into consideration (maybe some should park in their garages instead of using them for storage), when I had functions at my apt my guests were known to walk quite a distance to park. It wasn?t uncommon to see some parked on curbs and even in front of their garages. Management would leave notes about the parking, but hey, if they really had a problem with it they?d make more spaces, RIGHT'.

Yea, the pool is pretty much a lie, but you don?t lay down a G a month for the pool, get over it. The gym is pretty good, and my neighbors were pretty friendly, I never had any issues w/ my neighbors (Michaels mom was cool, he was the hellion).

So, if you?re looking for an apt. Utopia, you can find it in Atlantis (there isn?t one), however I?d say this is at least the 2nd best apt I?ve lived in (the verdict is still out on the one I?m in, the Club Merion in Columbia).
