Do NOT rent here please!! People I know are suing this apartment complex and for very good reasons. They are completely out to only take your money and give you horrible living conditions. Our water heater was completely rusted out, our water that comes out of our sink in the bathroom has a horrible stench, and we have complained several times and they have done nothing. Our oven needs to be replaced.
Our apartment has zero insulation so you can hear every one above you and in the hall. The apartment is so drafty you freeze in the winter and are hot in the summer, not to mention insane BGE bills!
They tow Residents and don't care about getting a new parking policy or giving assigned spots. They DO NOT CARE AT ALL about residents and they switch management hands every few months so that they never have to be responsible for anything they do just like every other evil corporate apartment company. I am completely disgusted. They are one of the most incompetent offices I have ever dealt with. They "lost" everyone's apartment keys because they said they fell off the wall where they kept them "hanging". That is the BS they feed you. And isn't that illegal' To have to make copies of the residents' keys. I have never been so disgusted with a management company and I have lived many places.

I completely agree with this review. I would tell you to complete AVOID Cascades Overlook at all cost. I've had nothing but bad experience after bad experience with them. The young girls in the leasing office are VERY incompetent, rude, unaccommading and frankly don't know what they are talking about. I've had to go over there heads and speak with someone in the actual David S. Brown office to get issues resolved. I agree with the parking, my car was towed and the only thing they could tell me is they hadn't gotten around to notifying eceryone yet! They confused my account with another residents account because we had the same last name and so I constantly had to show proofs of payment. If you decided to roll the dice and live here, SAVE ALL RECEIPTS, WRITE DOWN ALL NAMES OF WHO YOU SPEAK WITH....they will definitely play dumb. I too had complained about a stinch coming from the water in my bathroom as well as water pressure and nothing was done. I'm soooo sure I won't get nearly a quarter of my deposit back. Everyone in my building moved out because of the same complaints....they are horrible.

I am SOOO sorry I did not listen to these negative posts!!! I read them and moved in anyway, and I am paying for it! DO NOT even consider Cascades Overlook. I thought it was a good deal since they had the most space for the least money in this area, and the apartments I was shown looked very nice and polished. It is all a scam! It looks great, sounds great and the people are great UNTIL you start living here. I've never regretted taking an apartment so much in my life, and I have lived in the worst parts of the city!

I wish I had read comments on this place before I signed my lease...it is all true. I moved in February 2009 and I HATE IT!!! The noise, the smell, property management, it is all horrible.
