Very nice area to live in, however I would suggest another apartment complex in the neighborhood like Avalon or something in McDonogh Township development. After reading the other reviews for this apartment, I would have to say I agree with most of them. The old Manager really kept Chase Lea and its residence happy which reflects the earlier good remarks 2 years ago. However, the current management team doesn't seem to care about the opinion of those who live in the community. Recently they began a huge drive to attract potential new residence to the community with flags out front that say "welcome", and attempt to attract people to the community. What they need to realize it that if they took care of the residence they have they wouldn't need to advertise so much. By biggest complaint is the apartments are drafty and very cold in the winter. MY BGE BILLS ARE HUGE, Also water is very expensive for some reason, especially when they fill the pool in May (that comes out of your pocket) Ask them how the figure out the water bill, you will be very surprised, there is no point in trying to conserve! I renewed my lease a while back and had a "Mold Addendum" attached to it. Basically stating I could not hold Chase Lea responsible for any mold problems that develop. Expect Mold at Chase Lea, just don't expect them to fix the problem, try the health department - they might have better methods of destroying it, instead of expecting Chase Lea to correct it. I would like to move, and now I wish I had two years ago, but I have decided that my next move will be to a home in which I own. I expected to buy sooner and never expected to live here this long. Good Luck if you move here, maybe things will work out better for you.
