I lived here for a year and 1/2 and loved it. They allow you to paint as long as you put a primer coat back on before you leave. They allow you to have a "home buyer cause" which allows you out of your lease for $100 if you buy a home and have stayed more than 6 months. We did this and didn't have any problems. We rarely heard our neighbors. The walls are not thin and the ceilings are coated with a type of sound proofing. Laurel, the manager, was always helpful when we had questions or issues. I honestly miss this place and would live here again if needed. This was a diamond in the rough for us. There are other places w/i 1 5 minutes that may be cheaper... but saftey in those areas are very questionable!

Cons: maintence can be slow unless you have a "real" emergency... water leekage, etc. Mold does sometimes appear on the windows but is easily removed with Cloroxw/bleach spray. We cleaned the windows about once per month which took only 5-10 mintues. The key is using a bleach agent and it's completely gone for the month. The gym was nice but during the winter the heat is on in there making it nearly impossible to work out during certain months. (you can open the windows but only a small crack which doesn' help - they need to turn off the heat in that room)
