I've lived in The Gates 1 year & so far it has been a great experience. It's quiet, safe, & our apartment had a nice view. It's just a very pleasant place. The staff is always very friendly. Whenever I have a maintence issue, even if its as simple as getting them to change my kitchen light bulb, they always come right out. The neighbors are pleasant. Everything was nice & neat when we moved in, no surprises. The fitness center is pretty small but it serves its purpose. I would recommend it.
