I don't know how to express what a horror it has been to live in this building.

Problems that I have had in addition to those several have mentioned:

Crime: Gang activity around the complex is frightening. Graffiti is recurring and lack of security is alarming. Doors are left open and unlocked for weeks. Poorly designed card access system has flaws that leave doors open 24/7.

Management: Friendly, yet unresponsive. Maintenance doesn't seem to have a clue how to fix anything

Electric bills: These apartments seem to use more energy than BGE can supply. Move here and expect to use ungodly amounts of electric.

Thin walls: I can hear my neighbor having sex and then snoring afterwards.

Heat: Haha... what a joke. My furnace has been broken several times. I give up.

Stay away and do yourself a favor.

What I would like to know is, where in the same zip code can you find a place for the same $ that is: clean, well-insulated, properly constructed, is "safe", has ample parking, has no pest problems, and has responsive and capable management/repair staff? I am earnest in my question, because I have been unable to find any affordable housing in Owings Mills that ISN'T trashed, rating-wise.
