The community is very pretty to look at but the neighborhood is becoming no different than a project. The garage is the last place you want to park your vehicle, it will be stolen, vandalized, or broken into. The staff doesnt take any responsibility for an actions that occur on the property; however, they wont take measure to prevent crime. I have received plenty notices on my door but nothing changes. THe pests are house centipedes that are awful. THe dog feces is another issue. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything that goes on..

I have been 12 months and unfortunately I am being tranfered so I am moving.. Make no mistake I wish I wasn't moving. I have lived in nicer place with higher rents...My contract through work brought me to owings Mills so here I am and honetly I have enjoyed it tremendiouly. Sure there has been a handful of things that have happened, tell me where bad things DON"T happen. EXACTLY.. not any more, even at nicer placer.. Sure with the mall closing or whatever is going on with that..the movie theather and the bus stop a few steps away there are some undesirable people that cross these grounds and create bad situations that the office staff has to deal with. Grass isn't always greener!!!Anyway if you dont like it here then move. its that simple.

First of all I am moving and dont need your grace. I am from Manhattan and NYC is plagued with crime; however, most high priced communities have doormen and security to keep the thugs out. I lived in the gates of Avalon (Owings Mills) and not once was my car broken into, nor were thugs hanging on the community. Secondly, my problem is management lack of assistance with controlling the problem. You stay here and allow your property to be destroyed and I will be moving out.
