I've read all the reviews and I must say how interesting!!!!!! I lived here from 2004-2005 when I was in college with 2 roommates and it was okay living then. Everything that has been said about Nikki on here is absolutely 100% true, I cant even tell u how many arguments I've had with her (she was the leasing manager by the way) But GUESS WHAT''' Shes long gone!!! Thank God! Towards the end of '05 when I left, I had a couple of issues with heat and insulation too, guys hanging out in the parking lots, and thats about it as far as the bad but for the good, Tanya the assistant at the office was SUPERB!!! U couldnt ask for better service ever!
So now that I've graduated, Owings Mills has still been home for me so I decided to check out the other apartments and something told me to just to go take a quick check with Lakeside, and let me tell u!! ITs the best thing I ever did, I move in a week and cant wait. The new Assistant is awesome and has such a great personality!!!!! Then Tanya comes from her office and remembered me from like 4 yrs ago, I told then what I was looking for and they put me in, the apartments are newly renovated (so beautiful), and best of all the Tanya that youve been hearing great things about is now the Leasing Manager! Their upgrades and specials right now come with LG flat screens and Im getting one!!!! They have new maintenance staff who seemed really sweet when I was there, the area looks so much quieter and cleaner than before!!! This is a great place with great staff!!! I cant wait to move in next week! Im actually writing up letter of great service to their management! The best ever!! Great job UDR! They know whats best

I would wait until I moved in to get happy honey! I was impressed myself with the upgraded "appearance" of lakeside, as I too lived here in the past(2004-2005). I as well decided to go back to lakeside and see what if anything new and exciting was happening. As soon as I moved in the tiles started pealing off the bathroom wall, spots started popping up on my "brand new carpet", the maintinence men have come in my apartment a number of times while I wasn't home for apparently no specific purpose without leaving so much as a note, and the list could really go on. The new assistant is nice until you get in here then she'll be callin you every day to scold you about dumb stuff. Im going to pray for you, because I'm stuck here wishing I could get out!
