I've lived here in Morningside heights for about 5 years now. At first it was a beautiful area, great place to raise a family. But steadily in the past two years it has gone way down hill. We have obnoxious neighborhood kids wreaking havoc on everything from playing outside to having small get togethers at barbecue areas provided to us by morningside aparments. The staff here are actually pretty nice, I frequently use only 3 select persons to call in to fix my home. (All the rest are incompetent a-holes). There is dog poop everywhere there is grass, despite the fact that there is a dog park a few feet from where ppl let their dogs loose. There is CONSTANTLY someone parking in my parking space. There has been stabbings, kidnappings, fights and shootings around my area constantly. I'm afraid of going out at night because of the recent surge in armed muggings. The schools in the area are all overcrowded, understaffed and poorly kept. I would NEVER reccomend anyone come here to live, unless you're planning to move out within 4-6 months of your lease. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
