I've lived at Richmar for about 5 years. Like anywhere else there are good folks and bad folks. For 3 years, our apartment building had ants. I'm happy to report they are gone now, probably because now there are cockroaches. I am out of there now...I don't care how much I have to pay for another apartment somewhere else.
Also, the laundry facilities are woefully inadequate. for 24 units, there are 2 washers and dryers. The dog walkers don't pick up after their pets, and sometimes it's just like Harlem, with music blaring from cars holding lots of people just sitting there, drinking beer and tossing the empties wherever they feel like. Maintenance is ok, I guess, but it takes 2 or 3 days for them to get to you, they don't call first, and they don't clean up afer themselves. The office manager has anger management problems, and they expect you to read their minds when it comes to procedures.
Once of my neighbor's cars was stolen then, and another neighbor (all under 17) plays loud music sometimes until 4 am on the weekends. When I called to complain, I was told to call the police because it wasn't their problem. Most of the decent people have moved from my apartment complex, and there's a big sign out in front of the complex saying "Live here free". No thanks!
Good: I have hardwood floors and very large room, so if I stay indoors and never go out, I can be quite content! See ya there!
