I lived here and would not refer anyone to the property. I experienced bed bugs for 6 of the 12 months I lived there and --- was not understanding because I wanted to break my lease. I had to throw away all of my furniture and was told that the tenants who where the problem would be moving and they didn't. The pest company they had coming in wasn't doing their job and when I complained, she did nothing but allow them to come in with the same crap and spray for no results. Oh and take pictures before you move out especially of the counter tops because she likes to request for them and say you destroyed them for a price of $200.00. The laundry room in my building was dim and dank and I never liked washing there. Great space but not worth losing all your belongings because bed bugs are hard to get rid of and there were other buildings with the same problem. Good Luck.

Bed bugs are very serious as well as hard to get rid of. They can get in your furniture, clothing, skin, they are like ticks when they suck your blood and you have to kill them like you would a tick.If you had to get rid of your bed, they are required to purchase another one for you. They hide in colonies inside crevisis in the walls. As far as your skin, it can cause really bad problems and your skin will never be the same. Taking a shower, your skin will itch uncontrolably and you may sometimes scratch until you bleed.
If you feel as though the rental office is not doing their job properly by ridding the problem, my suggestion to you is to call the Health Dept, news stations, and even renters court and try to put your rent in escrow. You may need to contact the managemnt company itself and go above the rental managers head if you feel as though she doesn't care about the situation.
If other people are compaining as well, they are also required to put you up in another place and at their expense until they rectify the situation.
Best of luck to you and others as well.

Never had a problem with bed bugs, but it doesn't surprise me that some have had them here. When the majority of the renters don't speak english, expect 3rd world conditions. On a plus side, Richmar has been bug bombing most apartments twice a year.

it is so unfortunate that bed bugs seem to be all over the us now. what really matters is what is management doing to solve the problem. I had those nasty things in my home which I think I brought in my luggage after going out of the country. I had to hire an exterminator to the tune of several thousand dollars and took 6 weeks to resolve but Thank goodness they solved the problem. I sold my home and now live at Richmar and I am happy no problem so far.
