Don't get sucked in!!!

Everything that you have read is true. The trash issue is a joke, management is nonresponsive, the noise level is a joke and the gated community is not gated!!! This place is a joke! We moved here about 6mths ago and can't wait to move. We have had numerous run-ins with our neighbors due to the volume of noise that comes from their two kids. We have talked to the numerous managers and they say that there is nothing they can do. They are always telling us to call the cops if we have a problem.

After we moved in we were sitting on the floor unpakcing boxes to notice that the carpet was wet. This was the case throughout the house. We reported this to the manager and they stated the carpets were just cleaned. After about a week and the purchase of a dehumidifier we called in the service manager to take a look at the problem. We had mold developing on the baseboards and the carpet was discoloring. The service manager told us that this was the apartment that had a big flood in it and that is why the carpets were wet. Humm... thought the carpets were just cleaned'''After we spend 200.00 on the dehumidifier, they laughed at us when we asked them to help pay for it since it was the only thing helped the situation from getting any worse. They still haven't replaced the carpet...they gave the carpet an enzyme treatment. That was all that they could do... Now for all the water leaks...the master bedroom bath has another leak. The paint has a bubble in it and was leaking water. I reported it and a week later they came to check it out. They pressed in the bubble and said that it wasn't leaking at the time so it was fine and no work was needed. Now the bubble and surrounding pain has mold growing on it. This is the 2nd leak in the same area...you would think that they would treat the situation...oh boy, the water damage that is under the paint.
Another issue is the hallway to the apartments...they are never cleaned. They are always dirty with salt/leaves. It looks horrible. Management has been notified numerous times and since that is not an emergency they will get to it when they can...NEVER! Not once has it been cleaned in the 6mths we have been here!
I could go on and on...but you get the message after reading all of these entries!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! There are other places to live here in Owings Mills!!! We just bought a place, but if you have to move to an apartment, brookside commons is really nice for the same price and they allow pets!!!
