I've lived here for about 8 months and am counting down the days until my lease is over! I have lost heat and hot water numerous times - for 3 days when it was a high of 8 degrees fahrenheit. I had nowhere to go and maintenance did not respond for 2 whole days! The leasing office folk acted like it was no big deal while they slept in their cozy homes away from Riverstone. It is ridicuous! The apartment itself is beautiful from the outside, but the management sucks, the people who work here dont care and make promises they fall through on. The gates NEVER work, the insulation is crap (I can feel the wind blowing when I stand in my living room), and the maintenance is unreliable. I constantly hear the people above me thumping all over the place, blaring music at all hours of the day and, now, theres cigarette smoke from god-knows-where coming through the very vents that dont circulate heat. So, I could very well die from hypothermia and cancer because I lived at Riverstone at Owings Mills. Ok, my shortened life-span is a bit dramatic, but seriously, if you are a busy person and do not want to incessantly badger the people whose salary for which you pay an exorbitant amount of rent, DO NOT LIVE HERE!
