Saw all the reviews when we moved here about 1 year ago. Went ahead and took it anyway. Overall, there is little that has been exaggerated in the reviews to this point.

1) Gates/Security: they don't extend around the entire property, they are broken and left open from time to time, and worst of all they do not deter anyone from coming in as people sit their cars in front of the gates blocking entrances until someone lets them in (management does not address this problem).

2) Trash: trash is an issue. Usually 2 or 3 times per month trash gets piled up around the compactor (sometimes piles reach 5 to 6 feet in height!). This usually seems to happen when the compactor is broken, the compactor is taken off to dump, or stupid, lazy people pile their trash in front of the access port making it impossible to put trash in the compactor.

3) Landscaping: the landscaping is pretty but closer looks reveal all the dog feces that owners don't pick up and the complex doesn't clean (essentially, don't walk in the grass!). This complex does not restrict sizes so you can imagine...as I would guess 75% of the owners I see do not pick up after their pets.

4) Noise: Noise within the apartment is not that bad (I did specifically get a top floor apartment though). Noise from the road is terrible however. Especially given this is a major roadway and major route for the fire department/police. You really can't have the windows/doors open for the noise and as a result the deck has been a dissappointment.

5) Crime: Don't know too much firsthand about the crime here suggested by other reviews except to say we have seen police here from time to time and management did put out a notice regarding the shooting that occurred.

6) Staff: Staff has been horrible!!! This would be the worst part of this complex. I cannot convey how rude, insensitive, and nasty these women are. They do not notify you when packages come (had one sitting there I wasn't expecting for some 3 weeks, yes 3 weeks before the person who sent it asked me about it!). They have been extremely rude to my family (including my 65 year old mother who only wanted to know if they could call me to let me know she was here). Moreover, pretty much the entire staff has changed 3 times over!

7) Price: Way overpriced. The apartments themselves are nice, but we didn't realize that some right down the street are several hundred less with similar...
