This property has been through at least 3 mangement companies and this one is the wrost. The first property mangager, Eric was great. Barbara the new property manager needs to read a customer service handbook for dummies or find a job that she does not have to interact with the public. Please just learn how to smile it looks better on you. I find her cold and unapproachable. The new maintaince guy is incompetent and how did he get the job. Repairs are slow and there is no response to emergenices. he gives you a two day notice before coming into your apartment. I do not trust him he is very nosy. The apartments are poorly built so you hear everything, the garbage bins are always full and furniture and people's things who may have left are been evicted are left outside of the property. this looks ghetto or is this beirut. The rent goes up every year and there are no improvements or incentives given for tenants to stay. also the recent demeanor of tenants appear red neck and ghetto. For owings mills to be an up and coming community for young middle class urbannites riverstone is looking like the hood. also, I have seen people walk in off the streets or from the next door apartments come into the clubhouse to use the pool, exercise room or computers. this not being monitored at all. so do look at other places, before you consider to rent here

Interesting! So the "Eric" from the previous rating probably WAS an apartment staff/manager!!! What a joke!

alright, I have never lived the ghetto, but have the pleasure of working in/near them due to the population I serve. I am wondering however, has the writer or responders ever lived in the "ghetto', cuz if so, you would know that Riverstone is nowhere near ghetto status. Shock effect, I get, but "ghetto" is pushing the envelope. I do however respect the views of all. Toya C. ~part of the solution or part of the problem? |

Clearly Toya C., you are part of the problem. I did live in the "ghetto" before moving to Riverstone. I thought I was making a move up. Instead, it was a lateral move. It may be cosmetically more appealing, but if you look closely, you will see that it is simply not worth what you pay. Do you pay for security gates that don't work? Yes. Do you pay for a trash compactor that doesn't work? Yes. Do you pay for a rude manager and staff? Yes. I guess if you like paying for services promised and not delivered, then you are getting what you think you're paying for. I however, am not!

I felt the same way about Barbara. I didn't notice others using the amenities - I am planning to move out at the end of the year. I like the apartment itself, but the place is going downhill quickly
