Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
When I moved in the apartment was still pretty new - there were not many problems with the apartments, until Barbara took over. It seemed like things started to go downhill fast. I pay on time and I don't ask for much but I have to admit I had a few arguments with her. She recently left so we are all testing out the waters for now with the new management. For an apartment that is only a few years old, things break down a lot (esp the gates - which stay open so long they are pointless anyway). I can hear my upstairs neighbors walking around and most nights I can hear their TV. I can also hear everytime the hallway doors are opened. There are a lot of kids, its rare to be able to relax at the pool without kids screaming and splashing you. The gym often has broken or missing equipment, the staff keeps saying things will be replaced or upgraded but it never happens. The 2 computers, when working, are often occupied for hours by kids, and the staff doesn't do anything about it. Not the kind of place where you know your neighbors. For the prices - this complex is no longer worth it. And the info about the sirens is also true, police and firetrucks are often passing by on painters mill road. I like my apartment itself, but not enough to stay another year.
