You are paying for the look of the place. It is nice with the crown molding and cathedral ceilings. The materials seem high quality but they really are not. But for $1,000 a month, you would think that they would actually use real granite countertops and not the thick roll on paper. I moved there because it was the best place I seen and it is a big step up from Brooklyn, NY. So I took it because I was too lazy to keep apartment hunting. The noise level is not that high. I guess I have quiet neighbors. But the front gate was broken for over a month and it was just fixed a few days ago, so anyone could have drove in uninvited. Even when it was fixed, the gate stays open for so long that cars can piggy back and drive in right behind you. One night these young guys piggy backed on me and took a joy ride in the parking lot. So it was not all that safe. They need to upgrade on the safety and invest in actual guards that let people in and oil those squeaky screen doors. Overall, it is nice but not worth $1,000 for a one bedroom.

True, but you coming from Brooklyn where I know $800 for a make-shift basement apartment is common practice. So you would be willing to pay $1500 for a 1 bdrm apt. becuz it has real granite?
But I like the fact that you gave suggestions, that is admirable.

I went to visit today, I loved it, the lady that helped me (Cindy) was very friendly & informative. I am about to love the apartment I am about to sign a lease for. I let this stupid website hang me up on a few apartments but after going and seeing for myself...DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE---GO VISIT APARTMENTS FOR YOURSELF! I love Riverstone and I'm sure I'll enjoy living there~

Justin.... no doubt you have regretted you decision.... or you are a leasing agent writing yet another idiotic "review" to entice people to rent in hell. Toya "Part of the Problem" C.: Having a suggestion is not admirable. Doing one's job is. Maybe there wouldn't be so many negative reviews if the staff were actually doing their jobs. Perhaps if the staff were more responsive, the tenants would not have to resort to negative reviews or "suggestions" on this site.
