Hi,
I have read all the reviews and I appreciate them. My main concern is rodents and roaches. Has anyone ever experienced this issue here'

I have looked at the apartment and of course the models will always look nice, i am wondering the following.

1. Rodent issues'

2.Roach issues'

3. excess amount of spiders or any other bugs'

4. is the location safe' do you feel safe walking your pet and too and from your car at night'

5. Do the appliances rust easily or are they rotting away'

6. are there any issues with the washing/dryer or dishwasher'

If you want to know if it's safe, look up the most recent crime stats or call the local police. That will give you an REAL idea of what's going on. When I lived there, there was a murder. and the only way the residents found out was in the paper! The management said nothing! I would also say that safety went WAY downhill within a year of the place being built. Crime was pretty high and the "security" gates were constantly broken... not so secure. The worst part was the management. The only thing they cared about was renting the units, after that, you're on your own. They could not care less about the tenants. Truly one of the worst places I've ever lived. And from what I've read, not much has changed....

Hi, I've lived at Riverstone since April of 09 and have nothing but good things to say. I haven't seen any roaches or rodents...if I had, I would have been GONE! Plenty of people are out walking their dogs and washing their cars at all hours of the morning and night. No one bothers anyone or their stuff. UPS leaves my packages at my door and no one disturbs them (I live on the fourth floor BTW) My maintenance requests are responded to promptly and the appliances are of good quality. No rust or anything. I love living at Riverstone. My only complaint would be the street noise. I live in the apartments facing the street. I've gotten used to it and the view from my balcony kind of makes it all worth it. The security gates have broken a couple times since I've been here but they have gotten them fixed in a matter of days. I feel pretty safe here! Hope that helps

I've never had any rodent or roach issues. I've never seen a roach in the 18 months I have been here. I am currently in a first story apartment with a garage - I've seen the occasional spider, but not often. I had a problem with ants for a while, but after spreading some baby powder near their favorite places (near one of my windows..) they vanished. The management is pretty good about having inspections done for pests on a regular basis (I know I've had 2 in my time here) Generally I think the location is safe, but don't let the gate fool you into a sense of security. People will follow your car in the gates, not much you can do about it. My neighbors have always been friendly and there is a good amount of light in the parking lot. I've seen people walking their pets at all times of day and evening, I'd say the area is safe. As I mentioned, I'm on the first floor, so I requested they add a bar to my sliding glass door as an extra security measure - it was installed the next day. Also nice - the apartments have a security system. You can pay to have it monitored if you want. The appliances are decent but nothing to write home about. Gas stoves are nice (though it doesn't have a pre-heat light - you'll need your own thermometer to determine if it is at the right heat). The dishwasher is pretty loud but generally does its job. Fridge is average. Washer and dryer work.
