Let me just say that I've visited pretty much every apartment community in owings mills and Riverstone is the most cost efficient choice for what you get. I haven't experienced any-roaches, rodents or crime. I'm not sure if the other people who posted about these issues live in the same place I live!!! I will list my personal pros and cons.
PROS:
Super convenient to highways
walking distance to grocery stores
HUGE tubs
crown molding, built in desks and bookcases
nice ceiling fans
large washer/dryer
Nice pantry area
nice appliances
updated cabinet
great pool area and grilling areas
Great prices for 1BR ( I pay $886)
large balcony

CONS:
fake granite counters. It would have been nice to have a real stone counter top
cheap material for flooring. There is nice tile in the foyer. If that was used in the kitchen as well, it would have been nice.
"wind tunnel"...when someone goes out of the stairwell doors, it will shake your front door.
Street noise (if your apartment faces Painters Mill Rd)
only one trash location-you have to drive your trash to the dumpster if you don't live close to it.
fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. Old equipment and only a few machines.
No paid utilities... expect to have an additional $20-$25 added to your rent bill every month to cover water, sewage and trash

Thank you so much for your feedback! Most of the cons you mentioned I can deal with. The tube was really nice....I did view a model. Which size apartment do you live in?

No problem! I live in the 1br (I think the style is called the Garrison) It's really cozy :)
