Ok for the price if you don't mind noise....

I've lived at Watermill since September and for the most part, it's been an ok place to live. We currently pay $850 for a 1 bedroom and that is with all utilities included, which is a great feature. However, noise from the parking lot and from various neighbors is an issue. Our bedroom is on the parking lot side of the building and all hours of the day and night there are cars parked by the dumpsters with their music up so loud, I can practically sing along from my bedroom with the window closed. Occasionally I can even hear it clearly from the living room on the other side of the building. Which brings up another issue, most of these vehicles seem sketchy to me. They aren't residents because they don't have parking stickers, but they just sit double-parked with their flashers on for extended periods of time. The occupants rarely leave their vehicles, they just sit. Then there is the issue of neighbor noise. The people next door to us would frequently have their music up so loud, I would have to keep raising the volume on my tv, often into the 20s and 30s. (On a quiet day I tend to keep the volume around 15) On several occasions we said something directly to the neighbors, but it became such a regular problem that complaints were made to the leasing office. They said someone would be sent to address the issue. But time and time again the neighbors would jack their music up. So our last option was to call the Baltimore County Police who quickly put an end to the problem with those neighbors. Perhaps the worst issue though, was the issue with the neighbors OVER AND DOWN from us. Not only were they in a separate "building", but they were down a floor. We could hear their music loud and clear enough to identify the song, often well after 11pm and one Saturday morning before 7am. We followed the same steps as we did with the other closer neighbors and finally ended up having the police handle that issue as well. My boyfriend and I now refer to our apartment complex as Club Watermill. I also have the agree with a previous post, the dishwasher is a joke. Frequently after a load of dishes we have black and brown "chunks" stuck to our dishes and I am one to rinse dishes well before even putting them into the dishwasher. More than a little gross.
