I have left the apartment by myself maybe 20 times this entire year...the rest of the time, I wait until my husband comes home to "escort me" because I am so afraid of the area. I left my window open one night this spring and overheard a lady on drugs in the parking lot telling her friend you can buy weed from Jackie for $30 per bag. I heard somebody screaming, "help, help!" in the parking lot, looked outside, and saw two adult men wailing on each other. I called the police, and they refused to send anybody out because the fight had moved out of eyesight from our window. We've had to do all of our repairs ourself. When we report problems to the front office, they dutifully write them down, and then nothing happens. To tell the truth, I'm not sure they even HAD maintenance men for a period of about three months while they were changing management. We've had to repair the A/C, the p-trap on our sink, and buy mouse traps ourselves becuase it never would have been done otherwise. (The other reiviewers are right about the mouse problem, too.)
Please don't live here. This place preys upon low-income and bargain seeking tenants, providing unsafe living conditions and no maintenance, and the crux of it is they get away with it because nobody stands up to management.
