I have lived here for 5 years and I am moving next week. The location is ok and so are my neighbors. I live on the quiet side of the complex. The front, middle and back sections is pretty quiet, but the side by the abandoned highrise is the pits. I take it's just the people on that side. There have been a few apartments that have been broken into and there are always car break ins. I have had two of my cars broken into. Once they took the radio. There have also been alot of robberies. Most people got robbed in the morning, when its dark and of course at night. Most of the time the robbers are in cars.

The apartments are old, very, very old. There is actually space between the wall and the floor. The walls are super thin. Your can hear EVERYTHING. When the guy upstairs walks around, it sounds like he is in my apartment. I have a lot of electrical problems. My kitchen light comes on sometimes and other times it is out for weeks. The mice, boy the mice. You better learn to accept them as your pet because they are there to stay. I don't have them as bad as others in the complex, but the thing is I see them. They come out with company around and all. Management hired some exterminators that went around the entire complex and patched up holes, but hey, we are dealing with professional mice, not the dumb ones. If you want a pet you have to pay a deposit, when actually you should pay a reduced rent because of all the mice you will have to deal with. Ask anyone around here, they will tell you about there mice problem because everyone has it. A lady I knew that lived on the other side moved because she was tired of seeing the entire family in her tub, everyday. Some people catch several a day. It's disgusting and the rental office don't give a hoot. All they want is rent money, that seems to get stolen all the time. Yes, someone is always getting fired from the rental office for stealing money. In my five years, there have been new people in that office every few months. The longest someone stayed is a little more than six months. Of course you have figured by now that the HNIC (Tammy) is very arrogant, a compulsive liar and rude, but quick to claim she is a woman of God. But hey, she wouldn't be the first hypocrite.

Yes, the apartment is big and you will love it when you first see it, but I guarantee you will start to see mice within the first two weeks. And don't expect maintenance to bring you any traps. You better buy your own.
