I am pleased with the apartment, management, maintenance, and the overall appearance of the property. I previously lived in a Ft. Washington, MD apartment complex and it was twenty times worse than Oxon Hill Village. I have never had any problems with anything being fixed in my apartment, the grounds and the hallway are always clean, and I have not experienced any problems with the environment. The apartments are roomy and everytime I call the office with a concern or a maintenance request it was addressed within 24 hours. The upkeep of the property is superior compared to many other apartment complexes in Prince George's County. It is convenient to shopping centers, the metro, there is a free shuttle bus service, and Oxon Hill Village staff have excellent activities and programs for children. The parking can be a bit stressful at times, and there are children everywhere; but overall I am very very pleased and I believe that I am getting my monies worth everytime I pay my rent. If I had taken the advice of some of the reviews written on this site I might have ended up in another horrible apartment complex like the previous one. Take the initiative and visit the office, speak with the staff, visit the complex, form your own opinion, and decide from what you see for yourself. The staff at Oxon Hill Village are excellent (The best); and I do not work for Oxon Hill Village or Southern Management. I am a Federal Employee and feel proud to go home (HOME) every evening.
