I was thinking that it wouldn't be that bad at first. The first night staying there was terrible. There were absolutely no parking spaces available, resident or visitor spaces, for the building I reside in. It doesn't make any sense to me that there are playgrounds EVERYWHERE I look. There are TOO many unsupervised children and teenagers roaming the community. So much for the "No Loitering" signs posted up. Parents of children, driving crazy all around the community yelling out their kids' names because they can not locate them and the children throwing rocks and mulch around on peoples' cars. The requirements to move in were absurd. The management office makes it difficult for people that have money to move in, when you have people with 4-5 kids on welfare not doing anything for themselves moving in with no issues. Forget about the community being a gated one in the fall, their just wasting time and money. Southern Management needs to invest in tearing down all playgrounds (leaving one designated area, instead of several) and create more parking spaces for the residents and their guests. It is a large community so management needs to accomodate the residents instead of incoveniencing them. The visitors temp parking pass is a hassle to get when they become expired. I work 2 full time jobs and do not have time to keep going up to the rental office, for them to monitor how many times I go there for parking passes. It would be a good idea to give the residents at least five permanent visitors passes and if its lost then have them pay for replacements. The buildings are leaning, the apartments are not on a level foundation. The community and Southern Management needs much improvement. Think twice about moving here.
