I lived here for 4 years and I can honestly say that I had more good experiences than bad. My area and my building is very quiet. Maintance for my first year would take forever to come and fix things but it's improved a whole lot. NO MICE OR ROACHES at all but if you live on the bottom floor you will see ants. The apartments are a little old so in some apartments you may see cracks in the walls. Overall, I would say it's not that bad.

My daugter and I are considering moving to Oxon Hill Village. My concerns were noise, roaches, and crime. You mentioned that your building was pretty quite. Which building do you reside in and are you still a resident due to the fact that you truly enjoy where you live?

I FIRST MOVED TOOXON HILL VILLAGE IN 2004 WITH MY PARENTS AND RECENTLY MOVED BACK IN 2007.THIS COMPLEX HAS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH BUGS AND MICE.THEY HAVE HUGE BIG BROWN ---- ROACHES THAT FLY.THEY ARE EVERY WHERE.WHEN I GO TO MY LAUNDRY FACILITY THERE IS ABOUT 10 TO 15 BUGS THERE AND THEY HAVE FIELD MICE THAT ARE ALWAYS ON YOUR BALCONY AND I LIVE ON THE SECOND FLOOR SO MY BALCONY IS PRETTY HIGH FROM THE GROUND.I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO MOVE HERE IN FACT HE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SHOULD COME AND CHECK THIS PLACE OUT.
