Oxon Hill Village
AVERAGE RATING

Me and my family moved to Oxon Hill Village the December of last year and is already looking for another place. There r just trifling people that live it this community. It has gotten to the point where in our building it is not even safe to walk out of our apartment. Several people have been robbed leaving their building. Several people cars have been broken into. I mean u can't even wash ur clothes in ur own building. We live in building 2144 and someone took a dump in the laundry room and we called about it and it took a couple of days before they came out to clean it up. The shuttle bus service isn't good. they r never on time and then have a attitude when people want answer about why the shuttle service is not working. It is just time to go.

Yes, there are some nasty people who live in Oxon Hill Village Apartments. Building 2242 is no different then the building you and your family live in, I have to clean up spit almost every day, and on top of that the kids think it is okay to throw rocks at a special needs bus. The kids around here are so disrespectful, and they fight almost everyday, and that is why I and my husband brought our yougest son a cellphone to let us know when his bus is coming in the parking lot. I walk everyday in the afternoon to meet him so nothing would happen, but I notice alot of the kids have to many free time, and that is because their mothers are not home. The only time you will see the rental office staffs is when the rents are late, but other then that you can't get them to do anything. The lady who lives across from us son spit all the time, plus they slams the door so loud it sounds like gun shoots. Have you notice all the upgrades Oxon Hill Villages has done and still are doing? That is because they are going to raise the rent. Our rent went up and we recieved a letter last week telling us the rent will going to $1145 starting this October. But when I went on their website it said something different the rent for a two bedroom, one full bath and powder room is going for $1195 a month. I am assuming they are doing this to get rid of certain people and stop certain people from coming in. Hopefully in Novemeber we will be gone, and you and your family as well.

Ignorance begets ignorance. My stay at Oxon Hill Village has been nothing but pleasant, so maybe it is your type that should be moving and leaving the residents who have education and jobs to pay the rents as they will increase. We don't pay utilities so where is the concern they have to pay for our utilities somehow.

I just moved from Oxon Hill Village at the end of August after 2 years. I lived in 2132 and I did not have any problems with my apartment with the exception of the parking issue which was not that big of a problem. I moved because they were going up on my rent and the place that I moved to have more for the same amount. Every place that you move to have problems but it is what you make of you place. I would recommend Oxon Hill to people who are looking.
