And that is the truth! I would rather live in a shelter than reside at Park Forest. I stayed in that HELL HOLE for 3 years too many! I can't tell you of the things I went through. So let's start at the top, the living conditions were horrible, just horrible. I have never lived anywhere you had unwanted guests that you could not get rid of (I am talking about the mice). Maintence would come by (don't be a single female because they were always trying to get some, hell forget single, one maintence man was messing around with a tenant and telling her her man was no good and wasn't better than him (sounds like a book)and still spitting game at other women)and they would give you a sticky trap for the mice or half way plug the holes and the mice still get in. Beware one of my neighbors told me how they used her bowls from her kitchen to solve a problem, which didn't solve the problem. They are lazy, always complaining about the different neighbors and the work they have to do (isn't that why they got those jobs, because they are supposed to want to do that'). Noise was another issue, I could hear my neighbors tv, music and them having sex all very clearly as if I was in the same room, Theft was another issue, I had my cars broken into and stolen which left me feeling quite violated. And parking being the nightmare it was, it wouldn't have been so bad if the lighting were better, but it wasn't. Now Management is a whole other story. I can't remember (lost count) of how many different managers came through that office. All I know is that it didn't make a diffence who came through. The place still sucked and so did the attitudes. They were ghetto fabulous. They would talk about the residents and the new residents wanting to move in. No professionalism. And that didn't just start and end with the leasing consultants, it went on through them all the way to management.
So with all this I would rather live in a shelter because my chances of some respect and not being violated are greater there than at Park Forest.

I completely concur. There's nothing fantasy about it. Everything at Park Forest Apartments is not what you would expect from it after you sign that lease. That's the whole key. They sugar coat everything at the beginning so that you sign that lease and then after that you start your resentment only after having signed a lease. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF. Save yourself the time and headaches. It's not worth it. You can find a place better to live than at Park Forest.
