I am currently trying to break my lease. The following are excerpts from my list of reasons taken directly from the letter that I am hand carrying today. Read it and come to your own conclusion.

1.I have reason to believe the neighbors are involved in drug activity.
2.Our vehicles have been broken into/vandalized/stolen/towed.
3.Neighborhood children ride their bikes and constantly bump into/scratch my vehicles.
4.My neighbor plays loud music all night long.
6.My intercom has been broken since I moved in and I can??t receive packages. It is very frustrating to take the day off from work because you expect and pay for delivery on a package only to wait all day and discover a note on your door that says ??Sorry We Missed You??.

I've clearly stayed two years too long based on reason number one alone. It's like living in public housing with market rate rent.

I say file a complaint with landlord tenant in upper marlboro! Don't complain, do something about it, file a complaint and find out how you can move out legally!

Thanks, for the advice, but because of the drug activity we went ahead and bought a house shortly thereafter.
