I have been in contact with local Prince George's County Officials about Park Forest, and learned that this apartment complex is one of several locations that will be closed down due to numerous county violations. I have lived here for a year, and since I have been here it has been a nightmare. There has been at least 3 people killed right inside of their apartment over a 4 month span. This is due to the lack of secured doors that Park Forest claim they offer when they rent the apartments to new people. The random killings is a serious problem in Park Forest and I have cancelled my lease effective the first of the month. This place has mice infestation and roaches every where. Cars are broken into and stolen right out of the parking lot frequently. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors fu**cking and banging the bed up against the wall all night long. It's unbelievable. This complex is inhabitable. I wouldn't let me dog or cat live here. I would not recommend this complex to anyone; particularily because you're not safe in your apartment in fear that someone is going to break in and kill you as they have done in the past several months. These are facts that Park Forest keep away from tenants and from the media, except the rape that happened right inside of the laundry room. It's just unsafe here and beyond that the living conditions is such that paying rent at $780 or above is purely a waist of hard earned money. Although pets are not allowed however be assured that you will be hearing a dog bark at wee-hours of the night, and sh**it sometimes on steps in the hallway...Purely disguisting....Also the laundry rooms stay locked and it takes them until 12pm or 2pm to unlock the rooms; even though the sign on the door say it opens at a specific time and closes at a specific time.

Wow!! I can not believe this. I suppose to go sign my lease on tomorrow. I am so glad that I am reading this. Did you move yet? What side was you living on?
