I moved here in May of 2005. The property manager was never friendly except while I was signing the lease. Thankfully she is gone now and there is a new manager. The parking can be very tight especially after 8 or 9pm. I have a 2bdrm w/den. I think the apartment is very spacious. I am on the ground. Under the carpet in certain spots it sounds like plywood under your feet. I have a shower issue that comes up from time to time. They fix it then it always comes back. I am getting ready to put in my 4 request since I moved in for it. Also my half bathroom has gotten the same ceiling leak twice from the unit above me. My rent went up 7% in May 2006 and now I am being told it may raise another 5 to 8% ($55 to $88) I am not happy about that at all. I think the increases are way too high. When I moved in my rent was $1035 and now it is $1107 and if it raises another 8% (possibly) it will be $1195. I would say it is safe I have never had an issue. My husbands car was broken into about 3 months ago but they only took some change (crackheads) and CD's but you can't avoid crime it is everywhere. All the apartments have alarm systems so I set mine everytime I leave but the whole complex is fenced in so a person would have to be real pressed to jump the fence and break in. I mean how would they get the stuff they take back over the fence''' I live on the ground and never see anyone walking back there. It is nice but I am trying to move in 2008, got to put all this increase money into a mortgage.
