To the young lady looking for an honest review, I moved to SV when I was 18 into a one bedroom, I loved it. It was very spacious and quiet. I moved away and then came back to a two bedroom. Again it was very spacious nice and comfortable. I once again moved away and came back. I now live in a 2 bedroom duplex. I love it. I have NOT had any rodent problems EVER. The only issue that I do have is NOISE. You can hear EVERYTHING. I can't even walk down the steps without hearing my neighbors get upset. There is NO insulation whatsoever. But other than that, parking is GREAT, APARTMENTS ARE NICE, but there are a lot of beaty head kids running around. Maintenance ALWAYS fixes everything the very next day and often call back to find out if everything went well. I don't see the problem. And I was not raised in the hood am not ghetto and am often not satisfied with mediocrity or however you spell it. I guess it depends on what apartment you end up with.
