I've lived in Southview for 5 months now with a toddler. Southview is known to have rapist, drug dealers and drug addict. To solve this problem stay out of the areas which you think are unsafe. The drug dealers are often VERY friendly, they offer to take my trash out when they see me struggling, and even greet me w/ a smile and "How are you doing ma'am". As far as the mice, I saty on the first floor, of course you may have mice, do what I did and get a cat if possible, I haven't seen or heard a mouse since I got my cat. An not all apartments have roaches, I have none!! Only real problem is the children running around, and gunshots all day down on Southern Ave.
