This is for all the residents that have made complaints about Southview. Let's just state the obvious...most of us reside at this community because no one else would take us. I have lived on the community for four years and the maint AND office staff have been nothing but friendly, humorous, and professional in any situation I've ever had. And they are HUMAN! Not only that, the roaches come from the invitation of other residents. Take into account your neighbors!And let's just talk about the area...hello- truthfully it doesn't even matter where you are, people who want to do wrong come from EVERYWHERE! What all do you think a community is supposed to take care of' I have seen the flyers regarding all the crime or situations regarding the area; I've seen police officers monitoring the area (and Southview IS a large community) and NO community can guarantee anyone's safety...I mean, where can you be that's safe' You take a risk of something happening to you every day you wake! Come on people! And as far as the response time for a resident complaint...there are procedures no matter where you go or what you do in this life. People expect an immediate resolution to things and it just doesn't work that way. Ever heard of discrimination'

People don't be fooled by this post! This was definitely written by someone from either the leasing office or Southern Management Corporate. Nice try to the author but you gave yourself away with your references to "the community"-the term taught to employees of Southern Management during training for an apt complex. In addition your assertion of "NO community can guarantee anyone's safety" is taken straight from Fair Housing 101 class.
There are serious infestation problems at "the community" and the office staff are rude and nasty especially the tall Amazonian Leasing Manager that looks like a ----. Rather than be funny and post misleading information, leave it to the residents that endure some of the problems at "the community."

I appreciate your thoughts, but let's just expose this...I was and am currently a resident at Southview and had been for two years and NEVER had an issue. I JUST started working for SMC recently, so let's be clear about that. That doesn't change my facts.

I must say this rent has nothing to do with living uncomfortable, If I pay the rent on the 1st or the 10th the problem still remains...this can go on and on but I have to say...I have never had a problem with Southview Mgmt but I have had a problem with Mickey and Minnie running through my house...I am a pretty clean person and I don't leave food out to welcome unwanted guests...I have friends who live around here as well but their problems vary from mice to roaches to ignorant neighbors...just wanted to add my two cents...
