I sorta agree with one person who mention that SOME people(not all) move here because you can't get approved elsewhere. I can honestly say that for me I needed to reestablish a good rental history and I was very apprective that I was approved for an apartment to get a fresh start... however, that DOES NOT MEAN you have to stand for certain things. Some of us here are paying our hard earned money to live at SV, the least they can do is to properly dealing with the infestion issues.

I noticed when I moved in last summer that the maintaince workers glossed over mice dropping on the wooden floors! They didn't even sweep the dang floor first before putting a fresh shine on it...(Which is a sign of TRIFLIN' WORK) I said to myself, where there's droppings there's a mouse! I didn't see anything for MONTHS but then came the spring 07' and I'm tell you I'll be dang if I'm going to live with RODENTS!!! This is extremely GROSS!!!! I have to go out and spend extra money to buy glue traps that these smart azz mice wiggle their way right off. Recently they did a inspection/extermination aka...glue traps...WTH''' I'd already did that!! Since they've come out I've even laid out the old fashion mouse traps and the mice ate the bait right off the dog-on trap!!! These mice are very clever..

As it relates to the children they are just a product of their environment :-( and I truly feel sorry for them. SOME of the adults that I've seen are very poor examples for these children who are mimicking their behavior. If you try to correct the childs behavior SOME of them get indignant.

I truly think that Southview should consider gutting these apts. which will alleviate the RODENT/ROACH issue. These apartments are very old and are WAAAAYYYYY OVERDUE for a FACELIFT/MAKEOVER. What is Southern Mangement during with their money that they're allowing these apts. go like this'''

1. Super thin walls....hear neighbors having sex as if they are in my bedroom...which I'm able to hear every moan, smack, popping, pounding, licking noise that is made during this activity. (That's how serious it is people!!!!)

2. Here people outside and inside fussing, fighting, farting etc...because the windows and walls are old.

3. I don't even have to turn on my music on the weekends...I can just listen to the neighbors music and save on electric. (super thin walls)

4. The aroma of marijuana in the halls!...I have to open the door to my apt. to spray Lysol because the aroma is COMING THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR OF MY APT. I don't want to inhale this crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. The air/heating unit was leaking this summer....right down onto my kitchen ceiling where I've noticed that someone has painted over that area SEVERAL TIMES...which tells me that the issue was never properly addressed and fixed....just a patch job.

All that said folks I am greatful that I had a roof over my head even if it wasn't totally exceptable because I was in need at the time. However, I have done my year and my credit is back on track and I've applied elsewhere... If you're like me and you need this place for a fresh start and think you can endure all of this for 1 year...then hey, do your thing.. But bring some mouse traps, combat, and ear plungs with you!!!!!!!!!!! Reestablish your credit and keep it movin :-)
