I have lived in Southview since April of this year, and am so ready to move. Before even moving in there were problems with roaches, after a couple of weeks they fixed the problem, so I thought ok everything should be good. After living here for merely a month, my apartment was robbed and vandalized. How this was able to happen and no one saw anything is beyond me, considering the fact that people are outside hanging out all day walking on your patio like they help you pay rent. The management office did nothing, someone was supposed to come down to check out apartment and never showed up, their only concern was whether damages were done to the apartment. The whack ass security didn't do nothing either, they would rather pick on the good neighbors who mind their business, than actually catch the people who are causing the rift raft in the neighborhood. It took them almost 3 months to fix the screen that was cut form the robbery. The air conditioner was also broke from the time I movd in until last month. The young kids and some adults around there run around putting trash everywhere, I will say that management does do a good job cleaning up, but with so many nasty ass people living around you it never stays clean. I was new to the area and was not expecting this, I will be moving at the end of this month. If you have another option I would suggest that you look into that before moving here, I hate it.
