THIS IS A DAMN SHAME. I'M PISSED AT MYSELF FOR BEING SO DESPIRATE IN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HOME.I HONESTLY THINK THAT MD AND DC APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH BUGS, MICE, OR DANGEROUS LIVING CONDITIONS. I MOVED HERE LAST MONTH AND ALREADY I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MICE. SO NO, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR HOUSE BEING FILTHY. MY HOUSE IS WELL KEPT. YES, HAVING A FILTHY HOUSE INCREASES CHANCES OF MICE, BUT IF YOU HAVE 1 OUT OF 15 RESPONSES OF COMPLIANTS, SOMETHING IS WRONG!!! MY PROBLEM IS THAT MY BALCONY FLOOR IS LEVELED IMPROPERLY WHICH CAUSES MICE TO COME THROUGH THE FLOOR. I TALKED TO MAINTENANCE AND LEFT THREE MESSAGES SINCE THE INCIDENT AND NO ONE HAS REPLIED. PLEASE, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU MOVE INTO YOUR NEW HOME BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT I DO...

Girl, I truly feel you. I had a second floor duplex apt. and had mice down and up stairs. I went to home depot and got some steel wool and shoved it up under the door of the furnace, check under the kitchen sink and stuff steel wool there as well. Also, check all your closets too, they can get into spaces as small as a dime.(oh, also under your stove in the kitchen) I had to get old fashion traps as well as glue trap cause that's all the rental office will do. (They sometimes wiggled their way right off the glue traps though)... Although I truly want to, I couldnt move out at the time, so I had to freak'n fight back cause they were some smart azz persistant mice!!!! I'm serious steel wool REALLY worked after I closed off ALL entry ways then set all of the traps with peanut butter I caught 4 to 5 mice. I know this is soooo frustrating....but only u can help u! The service office SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Wishing you the best :-) Prior Resident

WOW I live around the corner in Worthington Woods Apartments and they have a slight mice problem as well. At least they will will come in a PATCH the holes. They have never just givin you a sticky trap. That sucks

I am a previous tenant in Southview mice.Yes indeed. When you move in they moved in. My mom also lived there she had the same problems they were upon on the stove on the microwave, counter top. Maintenance was some crap. they do nothing but collect your rent. I would never recommend anyone to move there unless you accept mice as your pet. The apartments are big but the micesssssssss have to go.
