The Oaks At Park South formerly Riverview Terrace Apartments
< | >
I currently reside in Riverview Terrace, and have been since January 2004. the first time there the neighborhood was quite barely any signs of thug life. The consultants were very nice, and so is the manager. I hated the old 70's carpet they tried to give me and I complained to the manager. If the apartments are refurnished then the carpet was overlooked.I did the walk through I still to this day have a very visible small hole and a crack on the inside of the toilet bowl. I complained about the closet door being half off the hinges and it is still like that. I noticed the grout around the bathroom was covered with caulk to hide holes and that is still the same. It took 3 months before I could get my drawer to the kitchen fixed. Maintenance is so slow it took them nearly a week to fix the bottom lock on my door. The metal plate near the bolt and screws would sometimes jam me in the apartment.I would have to climb out the balcony window (luck I lived on the first floor) just to get out then kick the door to get it open talk about unresponsive and that was an emergency. People for 780 plus gas and electric it is not worth it. I cant even switch to another apartment in the complex that is even better than the one I'm in until my 15 month lease is up.Not to mention my first month rent was suppose to be free but turned out they charged the price of a high down payment.
