I'v been here too long and Im currently looking for something else to move into, like tomorrow.If you ever want to live in fear this is the place. The windows on the apartment are from 1960's and the locks are no good not to mention the easy pop open doors.The leasing center mangment after they move you in they forget who you are and seem to mis place all paper work and cant give you a good answer for any question's you may have (they can get real nasty with you).The MICE own these apartments so watch your step. I had family over and I was told mice are scared of people and run away, but not these ones they were running around in the living area were I was holding company. Recently my place was broken in to and I was robbed. It took the leasing center/Mangment 2 days to come and fix the locks on my window and balcony door. I was told I could not place a ADT security system in the apt. by mangment.
Not to mention my walls are falling I can hear everthing in my neighbors home from telephone convos. to late night snoring. And dont go out side you may not make it from your door to the parking lot, the HOOD is always out drug dealers,little children with no parent supervision, crack heads and beggers you name the oaks got it all year round.No cars in the parking lot are safe from damage,The kids play in the parking lots because thers no where else to play for them,so you will see dents and scratches up and down you car. There is no pool havent been one since Iv moved in and theres no play areas or sports courts/centers or even a child center. So dont beleave the Hype. JUST STAY AWAY

I am telling you, MOVE ASAP. I stayed way too long in those apts too, but when I got fed up with the management and THE MICE, I got the hell out. I'm paying more rent but I don't regret moving. Eventually they WILL have to tear those nasty apartment buildings down and start all over. I wish you luck in finding your new home.

I don't know who told you you couldn't have an ADT security in your place. I was told that you could when someone tried to break in my place. Oh yeah, I live on the third floor!!! That's a serious thief!! I'm outta here in 2 months and I can't wait. I'm going to pay a little more myself but it will be worth it. Management tried to talk me into staying with all these empty promises about what they are going to improve in and it's going to be better and it's going to be a great place to live and so on and so on. I looked at her like she was crazy and laughed in her face and told her she couldn't pay me to stay here. I wouldn't even live here free!! Good luck to you in finding a better place to live.

I agree 110% I just got out of that death trap. They begged me to stay as well. I hated their bait and switch tactics from day one. I saw the model apartment and that $400 move in price and thought I found a diamond but it was just a huge rat turd. What really pissed me off was how they painted the outside of the hallways but never fixed my damn door. My door was broken and THEY PAINTED OVER MY BROKEN DOOR! This was the new management team faking like they are here to turn things around as I sit in my apt with leaking ceilings. I used to walk past that banner everyday bragging about million dollar renovations. I want to tear it down so bad. STAY AWAY
